Background: Malformations of cortical development (MCDs) encompass a diverse group of cortical lesions and are recognized as significant contributors to epilepsy. Neuroimaging, particularly MRI, plays a pivotal role in identifying these lesions. This case series highlights the importance of meticulous MRI evaluation for diagnosing MCDs. Methods: We present the neuroimaging findings of various cortical malformations in pediatric patients treated at Imam Hossein Hospital, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Findings: This case series provides detailed descriptions of the neuroimaging findings in patients with cortical malformations. Conclusion: Pediatric radiologists should have a comprehensive understanding of the neuroimaging findings associated with cortical malformations, as elucidated in this case series.
